Partnership with The Connection Table to empower regional leaders across the Orana region

The Connection Table has a new network partner! RDA Orana has joined with the dynamic network to unite and support leaders from across regional, rural, and remote Australia. 

This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the representation and influence of rural leaders in community, industry, and government decision-making processes.

The Connection Table has created an innovative platform where current and emerging rural leaders can connect, collaborate, and advance their leadership skills. 

By providing ongoing capacity building, networking opportunities, and pathways to leadership roles, speaking opportunities and advocacy, The Connection Table seeks to ensure that rural voices are heard and valued at every level of decision-making.

"We are excited to launch The Connection Table and provide a space where leaders can come together to drive positive change," said co-founder Julia Spicer OAM. 

"Our goal is to facilitate meaningful connections and offer continuous support to leaders who are committed to making an impact in their communities and beyond," commented co-founder Jo Palmer.

The partnership between RDA Orana and The Connection Table will allow for 10 leaders across the region to have access to the platform for 12 months and take advantage of professional development, networking and board role promotion.  It will also provide an opportunity for RDA Orana to showcase to other members the initiative that are being undertaken across the region.

“RDA Orana is proud to be partnering with The Connection Table to help build and develop our regions leaders. The platform aligns with the RDA Orana Workforce Plan, which includes The Vault Talent Bank and the Orana Jobs Board,” said RDA Orana CEO Justine Campbell.
